This custom Ocah carrier is really very special. Right from the very beginning of working out the details of this carrier the Mama knew just how she wanted it to look. There had to be a flame breathing dragon, but not just any dragon, this Mama had drawn one for her little boy. We received this Mamas sketch in the post and then Ruth from Sewunique Crafts got involved and magically turned the Mamas orginal sketch into the most stunning embroidery that I think I have ever seen. I am so pleased that this conversion worked out so well, I know that there is a little boy who has been kept updated with our progress and who is even more excited than his Mama to get his Ocah Dragon Carrier.
This Ocah Wrap Conversion has been made from an original Didymos Jim wrap. It is a custom sized pre-schooler Clipee carrier with Removable hood, Custom arms out padding, Duo straps, and Leg padding. We decided on the removable hood in order that we could use the full height of the body of the carrier for the Dragon and flames embroidery. The arms out padding is a design that I first used on the Tula Mei tais, it is sewn on the inside panel of the carrier with no top stitching on the front of the carrier.
