Echino Scilla Full Buckle.

I was really excited to be working with this Wrap/Fabric combination again ! The Mama that ordered this carrier came up with the fantastic idea of having the pattern from the fabric continued up the shoulder strap by having the should strap embroiderd.  Simple right ? erm, the embroidery was relatively straightforward to digitize and sew (thanks Ruth) but the matter of matching up the body of the carrier so that it came together with the embroidery on the strap took quite some time to perfect.  But it was so worth the extra time spent to get it right, I am really pleased with the end result and fingers crossed the Mama who will be wearing it will be too. 

This is a Hybrid Full buckle carrier made from a Didymos Scilla wrap and Echino Purple birds fabric. It has been sewn with extra top stitching on the waist.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ocah Instock Wrap Conversions.

Hello everyone,

I am really delighted to finally announce that we now have a amazingly talented seamstress working with us. Kitty has over 20 years experience as a professional seamstress and she has spent the past week working with me on learning all there is to know about making Wrap Conversions, more specifically Ocah Wrap Conversions.

We havent worked out all of the details for definate yet with regards to how often we list Instock WC (i.e weekly or monthly) but for now we will be listing up to 6 instocks each week. I  will probably list them on a Monday evenings in order that I can have the weekend to upload pics to the shop etc rather than taking time out from sewing to list them at the end of the week on a Friday !

Prices will start from £89 and for the foreseeable future the instocks will be sewn with either wrap straps, Padded Mei Tai style straps, or our new strap which we will be unveiling on Friday evening ;O). We will be making a variety of sizes and we  will be making some Hybrid WC too.

As always we are happy to ship worldwide.

I will conrinue to work on the custom orders and we will continue to list slots as before.

We are toying with the idea of offering semi-custom instocks where will list a limited number of Semi customs slots in our store, you will buy a slot, choose a wrap from our store, choose the size, straps style, and hood style and then we will sew your WC from out instock wraps.

Pumkin Ring Sling.

This beautifully vibrant Ring Sling has been sewn using a Didymos Pumkin Indio Wrap.  It has a Simple Gathered Style shoulder.

 

 

Iris Ring Sling

This Ring Sling has been made from a Didymos Iris wrap and it has a Simple Gathered Style shoulder.

 

 

Instock hybrid wrap Conversion available Mon 28th March.

This wrap conversion is stitch perfect but is was intended that it would be sewn as a sample and so it is being sold as a sample it will be available for sale from 10am (UK time) on Monday 28th March and it will be listed in our Bigcartel store here

  This is a Hybrid Wrap Conversion with seat darts, padded waist and Wrap straps. It has been made using a BN Hoppediz Capetown wrap that has had the beige rails removed so that the wrap fabric is all black. It has a cute Kimono girls cotton print on the Front of the carrier and the sleephood. It is fully reversible and is plain black on the back.

It will be for sale for £72 (inc P&P in the UK  additional postal charges will be applied for buyers outside of the UK).

 

 

 

Under the light of the shimmering Moon.

This Ocah Wrap Conversion has been really fun to work on.  The Mama that ordered this carrier put a lot of thought into exactly how she wanted it to look and it has all worked out really well.  This is a Padded waist Conversion with wrap straps and a custom designed Pixie style hood with lace Trim and a silk fabric inner.  The Pixie hood can be rolled up and fixed out of the way. The wonderful Appliques on the front of the carrier has been created by Ruth Lord from SewUnique Crafts and are exactly as the Mama designed them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Perfect Plum.

I love the colours of the Didymos Plum Ellipsen that was used for this Ocah Wrap Conversion. This Carrier is an "Inbetween size" and it is reversible.  It is a  Padded waist conversion with Custom Duo straps, Adjustable Sleep Hood, Leg Padding, Arms out padding, and Extra top stitching on the waist. Lovely !

We will have 8 slots available on Monday 21st March at 8pm for sewing in the last two weeks of April/ 1st week of May.

IMPORTANT:

Slots will be allocated to the person that sends the email and cannot be transferred to anyone else, so please only email us if you want a slot for yourself.


Slots will be allocated to the first 4 people that email us and then at 8.15pm we will put all of the names of the remaining people that have emailed us into a draw and at random 4 more names will be taken for allocating the four remaining slots. Therefore if you email us you will have two chances of getting a slot. We will email each person that has been allocated a slot by 8.30pm and a non-refundable deposit of £10 will be required to secure the slot.

We will not be making the list public.
